The word creatrope is intended to connote create and the suffix -tropic, meaning, Affecting or attracted to something specified.In other words, a tendency toward creativity.
I started this blog for several reasons, none of which would be particularly obvious by the content alone. The ‘obvious’ theme is about organization and decluttering, but in actionality I’d only say I was only moderately well organized (certainly not an expert) and not much of clutterbug at all. My house is actually fairly neat, despite the evidence on this blog to the contrary. (Although that would indicate that perhaps I do have something to add on the topic…)
But I did want to accomplish a few things. One, to get first-hand ground-up knowledge of current internet advertising, referrer, web crawling, video, content, dhtml, ajax, javascript, technologies outside the work environment, and two, convince two reluctant friends who can really write and have something interesting to say (IMHO) that this is so painfully easy it’s worth doing.
In the meantime, if I can share a couple fun hacks and projects with you, it will be well worth it!
